Cowboy Halloween Costume
It doesn’t matter how old you are, there will come a time where you need to come up with a costume either for Halloween or some sort of costume party. You never know when you need a costume for a masquerade party or some sort of company social event. I know there are times where these events can actually be a burden, but you don’t want to be the bummer of the party now do you? You want to go with the flow.
With a Cowboy Costume you can’t go wrong, plus it’s a pretty common costume too that can be used for more than just Halloween. As a matter of fact, the company I work for had a chili cook off contest and a Cowboy Costume came in very handy for me and my co workers. Just to let you know, my co-worker is from Texas and we’ve won the cook off 2 years in a row with her famous Texas style chili!
To get the right cowboy look, you need to get some of the following things:
A button down shirt, especially with embroidery on the chest, cuffs and the collar.
Blue Jeans that fit comfortable. No baggy jeans allowed! You’re a cowboy, not a homeboy.
A leather belt with a big belt buckle. Go for a more rustic belt look instead of shiny leather.
Also the cowboy boots won’t look right without some boot cut pants either.
Last but not least, a nice size Cowboy hat will definitely set the mood. Once you have all of these things in order, your costume will be complete.
Check out some old cowboy films and spaghetti westerns to get a feel of what you want your costume to look like. A cowboy costume doesn’t always have to be the same.
