Now if you want some fringe for your costume, feel free to glue on some fabric to the seams of your costume. Get the boots out, get that holster strapped on, get those fake guns in your holster and walk bow legged like the cowboys do in the movies.
If you’re not in a hurry to get your cowboy costume together, you can try places such as thrift stores, garage sales, fabric stores; craft supply places, toy stores and other costume shops where you can find costumes at a decent price. You can also find the real deal stuff at tack and feed shops if you plan on dressing the part for more than Halloween. There’s nothing better than girls who fall head over heels for a man who is dressed to impress.
If you’re dressing as a cowgirl, you can wear jeans to fit the part, or you could even go another route and wear a full skirt or some sort of full skirted dress. Look into petticoat or old time square dancing clothes will work extremely well too.
If you’re not use to walking around in boots, be sure to get the feel for them before going out. If you’ve never worn these kinds of boots before, it’s best to have a little bit of practice in them to make your costume come off better.
